What are creator economy & partnerships jobs?
Creator economy and partnership roles sit between brands and the creators they work with: finding them, signing them, paying them, and keeping the relationship intact. This category exists because the creator relationship became a job rather than a campaign line item.
What these roles have in common
Every role here manages an external relationship with commercial terms attached. All of them balance a brand's requirements against a creator's independence, and all of them are measured on the deals that result.
How the roles differ
Brand Partnerships Manager and Sponsorships Manager sell and structure deals. Creator Partnerships Manager, Influencer Relations Manager and Creator Recruiter find and keep the talent. Talent Manager and Talent Agent represent the creator's side rather than the brand's, and Creator Operations plus Affiliate Marketing Manager run the systems and payouts underneath.
Skills that transfer across the category
Negotiation, relationship management, contract and payment literacy, and enough campaign analytics to know which partnerships actually worked. Moving between the brand side and the talent side is common and mostly a matter of whose interests you represent.
Where these careers lead
Toward Head of Partnerships or Head of Creator, and often into business development, since the core skill is commercial rather than creative.
