An Influencer Relations Manager identifies, vets, and cultivates relationships with social media creators and content influencers on behalf of a brand. Day-to-day work involves sourcing influencers across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, negotiating partnership terms, briefing creators on campaign objectives, and tracking deliverables. They act as the primary point of contact between the brand and its influencer roster, ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines and that campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. They also analyze post-campaign data to report on reach, engagement, and ROI.
Key responsibilities
- Source and vet influencers across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) using discovery tools and manual research
- Manage end-to-end influencer campaigns from outreach and contracting through to content approval and publishing
- Negotiate partnership terms, fees, and usage rights with creators and their agents
- Brief influencers on brand messaging, campaign goals, and content guidelines
- Track deliverables, monitor content performance, and compile post-campaign reports
- Maintain and grow an ongoing roster of brand-aligned creator relationships

Education & background
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or PR is common, though portfolio and hands-on experience are often weighted equally
