What does a Brand Marketing Manager do?
A Brand Marketing Manager owns the development and execution of a brand's positioning, visual identity, and messaging across channels. Day-to-day, they brief and guide creative teams, oversee campaign production from concept to launch, manage brand guidelines, collaborate with product and content teams to ensure consistency, and analyse campaign performance to refine strategy. They often commission or review UGC, paid, and organic content, and act as the internal guardian of brand voice and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and visual identity guidelines
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and offline channels
- Brief and manage creative teams, agencies, and freelancers on campaign deliverables
- Oversee content production including UGC, video, copy, and design assets
- Collaborate with product, sales, and comms teams to align brand messaging
- Track and report on brand health metrics and campaign performance
