An On-Camera Host presents live or recorded content directly to a camera audience, most commonly in live-streamed game show, food, entertainment, or public programme formats. Day-to-day work involves hosting sessions in real time, explaining rules, guiding participants, narrating action, and maintaining audience energy, while following production scripts or cue cards and responding naturally to live feedback. Many roles are language-specific, requiring hosts to present fluently in a target language to serve regional or international audiences. Hosts work closely with production crews, floor managers, and directors to hit timing cues and maintain broadcast quality across every session.
Key responsibilities
