A UGC (User-Generated Content) Creator produces short-form video and photo content on behalf of brands, designed to look and feel like genuine consumer content rather than polished advertising. Working on a freelance or contract basis, they concept, film, and edit product-focused content, typically unboxings, reviews, tutorials, or lifestyle integrations, that brands then license and deploy in paid social ads, organic feeds, or landing pages. They operate as a one-person production unit, handling scripting, on-camera performance, filming, and basic post-production from their own home or location setup.
Key responsibilities
- Concept and script short-form video briefs aligned to brand guidelines
- Film and self-direct on-camera content (reviews, tutorials, unboxings, lifestyle)
- Edit videos with captions, transitions, and audio for TikTok and Instagram formats
- Deliver content assets within agreed timelines and revision rounds
- Communicate with brand or agency contacts to align on creative direction
- Repurpose or adapt content across multiple formats or aspect ratios on request
