What does a Graphic Designer do?

A Graphic Designer conceives and produces visual content for a range of formats, including digital ads, social media assets, print collateral, pitch decks, motion graphics, and brand materials. Working from creative briefs, they develop concepts, select typography and colour palettes, and refine designs through feedback cycles with stakeholders. Depending on the specialisation, they may focus on performance advertising creatives, motion and animation, enterprise-scale design systems, or print production. They collaborate closely with marketing, product, and copywriting teams to ensure visual output is consistent with brand guidelines and optimised for its intended channel.
