Illustrator Jobs
What does a Illustrator do?
An Illustrator creates original artwork across a range of media and formats, from editorial and publishing work to concept art, technical diagrams, and digital campaigns. Day-to-day, they interpret creative briefs, develop visual concepts through sketching and iteration, and produce polished final artwork using digital tools or traditional media. Depending on the specialisation, they may work closely with art directors, writers, game designers, or engineers to ensure illustrations are accurate, on-brand, and fit for purpose. Freelance illustrators also manage client relationships, revisions, and licensing of their work.
