What does a Visual Designer do?
A Visual Designer creates the look and feel of brand communications, digital products, and marketing materials. Day-to-day work involves designing layouts, typography systems, iconography, banners, and visual components that align with brand guidelines. They collaborate closely with marketing, product, and UX teams to translate briefs and concepts into production-ready assets, ensuring visual consistency across channels such as web, social media, advertising, and print.
Key responsibilities
- Design on-brand visual assets for digital and print channels including banners, social graphics, and landing pages
- Develop and maintain visual identity systems, style guides, and design templates
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to interpret briefs and deliver creative concepts
- Create UI-level visual components such as icons, illustrations, and motion graphics
- Prepare and hand off production-ready files to developers or print vendors
- Review and quality-check final outputs for visual consistency and brand accuracy

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field, or equivalent portfolio-based experience
