Ghostwriter Jobs
What does a Ghostwriter do?
A ghostwriter produces written content on behalf of a named client or brand, fully adopting their voice, tone, and perspective. Day-to-day work involves interviewing clients to extract ideas and anecdotes, researching topics thoroughly, drafting long- or short-form content, such as books, thought-leadership articles, blog posts, speeches, or social media copy, and revising until the writing is indistinguishable from the client's own. The ghostwriter typically works under a confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement and receives no public byline, making voice-matching and discretion as important as writing craft itself.

- Research subject matter to ensure accuracy and credibility
- Draft long- and short-form content including books, articles, speeches, and scripts
