Summary of the Freelance Sound Designer job at Athena Studio

I. KEY JOB DUTIES

• Design and create high-quality sound effects and background music for various elements, backgrounds, and mechanics in-game.   
• Collaborate closely with the game designer and developer to ensure sounds align with gameplay mechanics and visual design.   
• Ensure all sound effects and music tracks are technically proficient and optimized for mobile performance.
• Deliver audio assets on deadlines and according to specifications.

II. QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience designing sound effects for games, with a strong emphasis on composing music tracks.   
• Solid experience working on Mobile Games and Casual Games.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of engaging SFX and music creations.   
• Proficiency in audio editing and sound design software.
• Proficient in English (both written and spoken) to communicate and collaborate effectively with our international team.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Highly responsive communication style and readiness to provide audio support across different stages of development.
• Open to a long-term, project-based freelance relationship (work by piece).
