WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

We believe social media isn’t just a marketing channel. It's how we build a community that carries our brand into culture. Our mission is that finance should be accessible, understandable, and part of everyday conversations. As a Social Media Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping how millions engage with that mission online. How they learn and talk about finances, normalising the exchange. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create scroll-stopping content that makes people laugh, think, share and actually care about their money
  • Spot trends faster than the algorithm and know exactly how to twist them to fit our world of banking, putting Trade Republic top of mind. Always culturally relevant and with Zeitgeist. You transcreate, knowing your leeway between creativity and compliance
  • Jump from brainstorming ideas to filming, editing, and hitting publish. You love getting your hands dirty and have a bias to action
  • Understands Wall Street lingo, but refuses to use it. We break barriers and know how to easily communicate the seemingly most complex topics
  • Build and nurture our community, because meaningful conversations drive culture (and yes, organic growth)

 

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR


We’re after someone who navigates the online world easily and with great confidence. And also gets the bigger picture of why people should talk about finance at brunch.

  • You have at least 2 years of experience managing social media accounts, either for a company or your own channels
  • You eat trends for breakfast and understand what makes a post go viral (and what makes people roll their eyes)
  • You’re a bit of a finance nerd, or at least curious enough to turn complex stuff into something your friends actually get
  • You believe community management isn’t a chore; it’s where culture happens
  • You’re fluent in both English and German, and you can switch tones as effortlessly as switching tabs. French is a plus
