The Role:
EMN is seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator Co-op Student to join our growing team. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will support the development and execution of EMN’s social media and digital marketing initiatives across multiple platforms.
In collaboration with the EMN Team, you will help create engaging content, support brand awareness campaigns, assist with social media planning and analytics, monitor community engagement, and contribute to marketing projects that support patient education and surgeon engagement. This role is ideal for someone excited about healthcare marketing, storytelling, and building a modern brand in the life sciences space.
You will gain hands-on experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and leadership teams while helping support the continued growth of the ENROUTE® brand.
About You:
You are creative, organized, and eager to learn. You enjoy developing content, staying on top of social media trends, and finding new ways to engage audiences online. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoy collaborating with a team to bring ideas to life.
You have strong communication skills and an eye for detail, with an interest in healthcare, wellness, or nutrition marketing. Most importantly, you are proactive, adaptable, and excited to contribute to a growing company that is helping redefine patient support and perioperative care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning, creation, and scheduling of social media content across platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Launch an Instagram account for the ENROUTE brand, including developing a unique strategy for this platform.
- Support the development of graphics, captions, videos, and marketing materials aligned with EMN’s brand voice.
- Monitor social media channels and assist with community engagement and audience interaction.
- Help track and report on social media performance metrics, trends, and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on content calendars, campaigns, conferences, product launches, and brand initiatives.
- Leverage graphic design skills to edit and customize printed assets for practice partners.
- Support marketing, sales, and operations projects as needed to gain exposure to broader business functions.
- Contribute creative ideas to help grow brand recognition and support EMN’s mission of improving patient care through nutrition.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for social media, digital marketing, branding, and content creation.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, and other content creation tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
Your Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate college or university program in marketing, communications, media, business, or a related field.
- Experience managing social media accounts, creating content, or supporting marketing initiatives.
- Graphic design and video editing experience.
