Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in domiciliary care? Do you enjoy building meaningful relationships within your local community? If so, we would love to hear from you.
Home Instead Walsall & Great Barr is seeking a proactive and confident Community Engagement Support to help strengthen our presence across the local area and develop valuable partnerships that support older adults in our community.
Job Description
About the Role
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key local organisations and professionals, helping to raise awareness of Home Instead's services and identifying opportunities for growth.
The role will be paid on an hourly basis during the probationary period, with the expectation of moving to a salaried position upon successful completion of probation and achievement of agreed objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organisations, including:
- GP surgeries- Pharmacies- Chiropodists and podiatrists- Community centres
- Healthcare professionals and local support services
- Represent Home Instead at local networking events and community activities.
- Promote our domiciliary care services within the local area.
- Identify opportunities to develop new referral pathways and partnerships.
- Work closely with the management team to support business growth.
- Maintain regular communication with key contacts and stakeholders.
Qualifications
About You
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or networking.
- Experience within domiciliary care or the health and social care sector.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident, professional, and approachable.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Flexible and adaptable, with occasional weekend availability when required.
- Passionate about making a positive difference within the local community.
