Summary of the PR & Communications Manager job at PatSnap

• Manage day-to-day international PR execution, including media outreach, interviews, announcements, Q&As, briefing materials, and executive talking points.

• Serve as the key internal contact for external PR agencies, owning timelines, deliverables, approvals, and follow-ups.

• Coordinate with leadership, legal, finance, marketing, and other teams on external communications.

• Support crisis and other sensitive communications as the first line of coordination.

• Develop customer stories and compelling narratives around PatSnap’s AI products and innovation.

• Maintain media relationships, trackers, coverage reports, and communication workflows.

• Use AI tools to improve content creation, media research, interview preparation, sentiment analysis, and emerging GEO-related analysis.

Requirements

1. 5–10 years of PR / Communications experience, preferably with strong agency experience; both agency and in-house experience is a plus.

2. Excellent English writing and communication skills and fluent Mandarin.

3. Proven experience in media outreach, press materials, interview coordination, and crisis communications.

4. Strong stakeholder management and execution skills — highly reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball.

5. Experience working across Singapore, Greater China, and international markets.

6. Good understanding of technology and AI, with hands-on use of tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or similar.

7. Able to understand and clearly explain concepts such as AI Agents, MCP, and Skills in business language.
