The Opportunity
Exceptional customer communication is about more than words. It's about building trust, creating clarity and ensuring customers and advisers receive the right information at the right time.
We're looking for a Senior Manager, Customer & Adviser Communications to establish and lead Netwealth's customer and adviser communications capability. This newly created leadership role will bring strategic oversight, governance and consistency to the communications that shape our customer and adviser experience.
Reporting to the General Manager, Marketing, you'll work across Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk and Marketing to improve how communications are planned, governed and delivered. You'll help create a more customer centric approach to communications while ensuring important information remains accurate, compliant and easy to understand.
This is a rare opportunity to build a function from the ground up and have a lasting impact on how Netwealth communicates with advisers, clients and stakeholders.
What you'll do
Develop and lead Netwealth's customer and adviser communications strategy, governance frameworks and communication standards.
Create greater visibility, consistency and oversight across regulatory, operational, product and business critical communications.
Act as the senior editor and communications adviser for complex, high risk and strategically significant communications.
Establish communication governance, audience management, approval processes and measurement frameworks across the business.
Influence and partner with senior stakeholders to improve communication quality, effectiveness and customer outcomes.
Lead and coach the Communications Specialist while helping shape the future communications capability within Marketing.
About you
7+ years' experience in communications, customer communications, corporate affairs or a related discipline within financial services, superannuation, wealth management, banking or another regulated environment.
Strong experience managing regulated customer, member, client or adviser communications.
Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory and technical information into clear, customer friendly messages.
Demonstrated experience establishing governance frameworks, communication standards and operating models.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex cross functional environments.
People leadership experience, with the ability to coach, develop and support others.
A strategic mindset combined with a hands on approach to delivery.
