Position Summary:
Mastery is a high-performing, nonprofit network of 23 schools serving 14,000 students in grades K-12 in
Philadelphia, PA, and Camden, NJ. This position will contribute to communications and stakeholder engagement efforts in support of the organization's strategic priorities.

The Communications Manager is a skilled communicator responsible for overseeing Mastery’s day-today communications across digital and social media platforms. This role is built for a self-starter who leads with strong writing, applies strategic thinking to social media and web development, and drives key video initiatives as part of a multi-channel approach. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, and skilled across multiple channels, requiring minimal direction for every task. They understand that great
communication advances the network’s mission among key audiences, both internally and externally. This role reports to the Senior Director of Communications, while collaborating with internal teams including academics, student enrollment, staff recruitment and retention, and advocacy.
