Senior Video Producer job description

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Snowflake Studio is the in-house production team delivering high-quality video content, both pre-recorded and live, for internal and external audiences. We are seeking a highly motivated Content Producer to serve as a versatile, utility-focused contributor within a small and nimble team. In this role, you will step into multiple production capacities, collaborating across business organizations to bring compelling video content to life. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about storytelling and production excellence.

IN THIS ROLE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Take on multiple production roles including Director of Photography, Director, Gaffer, Technical Producer, and Studio Manager as needed

  • Manage and execute video productions from pre-production through delivery, ensuring high-quality results across live and pre-recorded formats

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments to communicate production details and align on project goals

  • Build and manage larger production teams in partnership with external vendors for scaled productions

  • Champion studio services across the organization, building relationships with internal clients and expanding the studio's reach

  • Document productions through behind-the-scenes photography and maintain high standards of on-set and studio safety and etiquette

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • 5+ years of versatile video production experience with hands-on expertise in cameras, lighting, and directing in both studio and on-set environments

  • Strong understanding of video production set and studio etiquette with the ability to remain flexible across a variety of departments and project types

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration throughout the full production process

  • A passion for documentary storytelling, capturing authentic human stories, and making subjects look their best on camera

  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time and adapt to varying production needs

  • Familiarity with tools such as VMix, Sony and Canon cameras, Aperture and Arri lighting, and Zoom; knowledge of designing and building video studios is a plus

WHY JOIN OUR TEAM AT SNOWFLAKE?

Joining Snowflake Studio means becoming a core creative force within a best-in-class, in-house production team that supports the entire business. You will have the opportunity to wear many hats, grow your craft across a wide range of production disciplines, and make a visible impact through content that reaches both internal and external audiences. Our team values creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning, encouraging members to stay at the forefront of emerging production technologies and industry trends. If you are a driven, adaptable storyteller who loves both the technical and human sides of production, this is the team for you.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
