Summary of the Junior Video Producer (TikTok) job at Apify Technologies s.r.o.

We're looking for a part-time Junior Video Producer to post regularly to our culture channel on TikTok, @apifylife, find the trends worth jumping on, and make Apify's culture visible wherever future colleagues scroll.

What you'll be working on:

• Post regularly to @apifylife on TikTok: plan, film, edit, and post videos about office life, team events, new joiners, and the people behind Apify, with the goal of taking over the channel as you grow into the role.

• Find what's trending: keep a close eye on TikTok, spot the sounds, formats, and memes that fit Apify, and turn them into videos before they die out.

• Be part of the conversation: track where Apify gets mentioned and reply to posts and comments on both @apifylife and, later, on @apifytech, our product account, so we show up as part of the community.

• Take culture content beyond TikTok: join the employer branding content sync with the Social Media team and repurpose and repost your videos on LinkedIn and X, adapting them to each channel.

• Be in front of the camera: host videos, run interviews with colleagues, and make people comfortable on camera. You'll also occasionally act in our long-form product videos, which the Video team produces.

• Keep it lo-fi and real: shoot on your phone, edit in CapCut or the TikTok editor, and choose authentic over polished.

• Work with the Office and Events team: plan content around upcoming events, turn footage colleagues film into finished videos, and keep our short-form ideas database up to date.

• Show off both offices: you'll be based in Prague, with regular trips to Brno to put that office on the map too.

• Support recruiting: align with the People team so culturef content helps us hire for the roles we're looking to fill, and make sure everyone featured has agreed to appear.

• Track what works: follow views, followers, and engagement across channels, and share quick learnings with the Video team.

Who we're looking for:

• You live on TikTok - you know what's trending before it peaks and why some videos take off while others don't.

• You bring the energy - you're positive and outgoing, you love being on camera, and hosting, interviewing, or acting doesn't scare you. You're comfortable approaching colleagues you've never met.

• You've made content before - you have some hands-on experience making short-form videos, even if it was only for a personal account, student projects, a club, or a side project.

• You edit fast - CapCut, the TikTok editor, or similar. You can turn raw phone footage into a finished video in hours, not days.

• You get people - you're curious about the people you film and good at bringing out their personality on camera.

• You're reliable - you manage your own schedule, hit deadlines, and don't need to be chased.

• You can interview colleagues, write captions, and reply to comments in natural English.

Expectations

What we expect from you in the first 6 months:

You'll start by helping the video team with @apifylife, and gradually take it over, so they can focus on product videos and campaigns. Your first goal is to get to know the people, the offices, and how we make videos, and to earn everyone's trust in front of and behind the camera.

By the end of the first month, we expect you to:

1. Meet the Video team, the Office and Events team, the People team, and the social media team.

2. Get familiar with @apifylife, our short-form ideas database, and the process for publishing and repurposing videos.

3. Publish your first two @apifylife videos.

By the end of the first 3 months, we expect you to:

1. Post to @apifylife regularly, handling planning, filming, and editing with support from the Video team.

2. Publish at least one video a week, including one office video and one event video a month.

3. Have a repurposing routine with the social media team for LinkedIn and X.

4. Check mentions and reply to comments on both TikTok accounts several times a week.

5. Visit the Brno office and publish at least one video from it.

6. Share a short monthly recap of what worked and what didn't.

By the end of the first 6 months, we expect you to:

1. Run @apifylife day to day, with the Video team as backup.

2. Post at least 3 videos a week to @apifylife.

3. Grow @apifylife's followers and engagement month over month.

4. Launch at least one recurring series, such as colleague interviews or "day in the life".

5. Have a trend-spotting routine the whole Video team can rely on.

6. Create a simple guide that helps colleagues film footage you can use.
