YouTube Video Editor (Real Estate / Property Management) job description
We’re looking for a YouTube video editor who understands both content AND growth — not just someone who edits.
What You’ll Do
- Edit long-form YouTube videos (8–15 minutes)
- Create short-form clips (Shorts, Reels, LinkedIn)
- Improve video structure, pacing, and clarity
- Add captions, graphics, and visual elements that enhance understanding
- Repurpose content into multiple formats
What We Actually Need
Someone who can:
- Identify and improve hooks, retention, and flow
- Cut fluff and make videos tight and engaging
- Highlight moments that build authority and trust
- Understand what makes people watch, stay, and subscribe
- Think beyond editing — contribute to content performance
Required Experience
- Proven experience editing for YouTube growth
- Experience in real estate, property management, or business content
- Understanding of:
- Audience retention
- Thumbnails/titles (at least conceptually)
- YouTube pacing and structure
Editing Style
- Clean, professional, and authority-driven
- Think: real estate firm / consulting firm, not flashy influencer content
Avoid:
- Over-editing
- Excessive memes or sound effects
- Distracting transitions
Bonus
- You suggest better hooks or restructure videos
- You understand investor psychology
- You can turn “boring” topics into engaging content
- You think in terms of views, retention, and conversions
