Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications & Culture, you will play an important role in shaping and evolving the Internal Communications and Culture function at AIM. You will be responsible for developing and implementing communications and initiatives that support employee engagement, recognition and the overall employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and execution of AIM’s corporate communications strategy through impactful communications and people-focused initiatives.
- Optimize internal communication practices, tools, and channels to ensure employees have access to timely, relevant, and engaging information.
- Educate and engage employees by increasing awareness and understanding of new and existing employee programs, such as the Tuition Program and Years of Service Program.
- Support the evolution of AIM’s LinkedIn strategy to strengthen our employer brand and showcase our people, culture, initiatives, and achievements.
- Provide communications support to internal teams and stakeholders to improve the effectiveness and consistency of communications across the organization.
- Assist with the planning and execution of employee events, engagement activities, and local community initiatives.
- Support the development and launch of a new employee intranet, playing a key role in establishing the content strategy and ensuring all approved content is accurate, current and accessible
- Provide coordination and administrative support for various employee and people programs, as needed.
- Track and measure the performance and effectiveness of communication tools and initiatives, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support other internal communications, culture, and employee engagement projects as required.
Qualifications
- Relevant undergraduate university degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in communications, marketing, human resources, or related role.
- Excellent bilingualism in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Exceptional written communication skills in both French and English, with strong attention to tone, clarity, and accuracy.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Creative, proactive, and solution-oriented, with a strong interest in employee engagement, communications, and workplace culture.
