As an Editor at PR Newswire (a Cision company) which dedicated to news distribution, you will focus on proofreading client-submitted news, gaining insight into the significance of press releases while developing expertise in the fields of Public Relations and Media. You'll communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients, collaborating with the regional team to support our clients while staying updated on the latest news across various industries in APAC.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Format client press releases, proofread documents with speed and accuracy;

• Offer professional suggestions to customers on how to improve their press releases;

• Ensure all client requests are handled to the highest customer service standards;

• Ensure that the team's routine workflow runs smoothly and that tasks are managed properly;

• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding on distribution platforms and processes;

• Maintain seamless collaboration with colleagues in other functions and provide help as needed;

• Provide regular (daily, weekly) feedback of operations activities to Supervisor.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 1 year working experience is preferred, Fresh Graduates are also considered;

• Confident in Mandarin is essential with required ability in reading and writing Simplified Chinese;

• High proficiency in written English is a must;

• Highly self-motivated with energy and accountability;

• Feel comfortable interacting with people.

Work Arrangements:

• 5 days a week, 8 hours a day plus 1 hour meal time;

• Feel comfortable for shift rostering: morning and afternoon shifts (e.g., 08:00-17:00/ 09:00-18:00/ 13:00-22:00), weekend shifts (e.g., Wednesday to Sunday or Tuesday to Saturday), and occasional overtime during peak periods (NO overnight shifts)
