Work Schedule: This role primarily operates during India business hours and requires regular collaboration with global stakeholders, particularly US-based Marketing, Product, Sales, and Executive Leadership teams. Flexibility to work across US time zones, as business needs require, is essential. 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Content Strategist to lead and scale our global content strategy from India. This is a senior Individual Contributor role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on content creation to support brand awareness, demand generation, and pipeline growth across global markets.

 

Working closely with US-based Marketing, Product, Sales, and Executive Leadership teams, you will develop compelling thought leadership, executive communications, long-form content, and social media campaigns that position the organization as a trusted industry leader. This role requires exceptional storytelling, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex technology topics into engaging narratives for enterprise audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Translate global marketing priorities into a structured, execution-ready content strategy and editorial calendar.
  • Develop high-quality content, including: Thought leadership articles, Whitepapers and eBooks, Case studies and customer success stories, Blog articles and website content.
  • Develop compelling messaging aligned to enterprise buyer personas, including CIOs, CTOs, business leaders, and digital transformation executives.
  • Ensure content supports brand positioning, demand generation, and business growth objectives.
  • Social Media Strategy & Executive Thought Leadership

    • Develop and execute the organization's organic social media content strategy, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.
    • Create engaging executive thought leadership, company page content, and campaign-specific social assets.
    • Repurpose long-form content into platform-native formats, including short-form posts, carousels, and content snippets.
    • Partner with Demand Generation teams to amplify campaigns across digital channels.
    • Monitor engagement, analyze performance, and continuously optimize content based on insights.
    • Content Production & Editorial Excellence

      • Own the end-to-end content development lifecycle as a hands-on contributor.
      • Research, write, edit, and refine high-quality content across multiple formats.
      • Develop content briefs and manage production timelines with internal stakeholders and external vendors, as needed.
      • Establish editorial standards and ensure consistency in messaging, quality, and brand voice across all content.
      • Stakeholder Collaboration

        • Partner closely with Growth Marketing, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, Demand Generation, and Executive Leadership teams.
        • Translate technical and business concepts into compelling customer-focused narratives.
        • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to align messaging, campaign priorities, and content strategy.
        • Brand Voice & Quality Assurance

          • Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, messaging, and editorial quality.
          • Continuously refine content based on market trends, customer insights, and leadership feedback.
          • Performance & Optimization

            • Partner with SEO and Digital Marketing teams to optimize content for organic visibility, engagement, and lead generation.
            • Measure content performance using defined KPIs and leverage insights to continuously improve content effectiveness. 

Qualifications:

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience in B2B Content Marketing, Content Strategy, or Content Development.
  • Experience within IT Services, Technology Consulting, or Enterprise SaaS organizations.
  • Proven experience creating high-quality content for executive, business, and technical audiences.
  • Experience collaborating with global stakeholders, particularly US-based teams.
  • Skills & Expertise

    • Exceptional written, verbal, and editorial communication skills, with strong storytelling and narrative development capabilities.
    • Demonstrated experience creating executive thought leadership, executive communications, and LinkedIn/social media content.
    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives.
    • Strong understanding of SEO, digital content strategy, and content optimization best practices.
    • Experience using AI-assisted content creation tools to enhance productivity while maintaining editorial quality, brand consistency, and content accuracy.
    • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), content analytics, marketing automation platforms, and social media management tools.
    • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, planning, prioritization, and project management skills.

        • Familiarity with content analytics, social media management tools, and marketing platforms.
