Videographer & Media Manager (Contract) job description

About the Role

As the company's first videographer, you will own our video output end-to-end: shooting, editing, sound and delivery, and set the standard for storytelling quality across the brand. You have an exceptionally high bar for craft that makes content feel premium, comprehensible and well-aligned to our brand.

At its core, this is a hands-on production role. You'll be behind the camera and in the edit suite regularly. But beyond production, you'll also help shape how the company approaches media-led storytelling as a GTM and brand strategy, with real influence over how we scale that function using AI tools and coordination across our global offices.

This role has the potential to become a pivotal position in defining how we build and scale our media team as the company grows globally.

You're a growth-minded creative who's not just open but eager for such new challenges.

The position is a 6 month contract position that is open to opportunities depending on performance and business status.

What you'll do

  • Shoot and edit video content across formats: product storytelling, executive thought leadership, event coverage, social, and more

  • Own audio quality, including recording, mixing, and editing to a high standard

  • Develop and maintain a consistent visual and editorial voice across all video output

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate ideas into compelling narratives

  • Help define our media storytelling strategy and build scalable systems for content production

  • Source, brief, and manage external vendors and freelancers as projects require

  • Collaborate with teammates across global offices to produce and coordinate content remotely

  • Manage and organize archived photographs and videos for future use across multiple teams

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in videography, video production, or a related media role

  • A strong, diverse portfolio or reel that demonstrates taste: clean, intentional work that tells a story across formats and contexts

  • Expert-level editing skills and fluency with tools like Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve

  • A good ear: you have a high bar for audio as much as picture

  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and make sound creative decisions with minimal direction

  • Experience managing vendors, external crews, or creative partners and coordinating productions end-to-end

  • Curiosity and adaptability with AI-powered production tools and a desire to use them to do more with less

  • Willingness and availability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

  • Basic motion graphics or animation skills (After Effects, etc.)

Nice to have

  • Experience in tech, B2B, or startup environments

  • Familiarity with live streaming or event production

  • Experience building or contributing to a content system across distributed teams

  • Working English proficiency sufficient to edit English-language content and communicate clearly with English-speaking teammates and event organizers abroad
