THE POSITION

We're on the lookout for a Video Editor to join our growing team.
As an Editor, you’ll craft short-form video stories that bring campaigns and content strategies to life. Working closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, and Strategists, you’ll build video assets from strategic briefs—making clever use of existing footage, creator content, and newly captured material across paid social, OLV, and broader digital channels.
This role operates at the heart of an iterative content system. You’ll refine, adapt, and re-tool edits based on performance insights and creative direction. You’ll also help maintain a clean, efficient workflow by managing assets across cloud-based storage and archive platforms.
You’ll bring a strong sense of timing, rhythm, and visual clarity—and a desire to create work that feels intentional, cohesive, and crafted.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce short-form video content for paid social, OLV, and digital channels.
- Collaborate with Art Directors, Copywriters, and Strategists to bring ideas to life through thoughtful storytelling.
- Re-tool and refine videos based on performance data, creative feedback, and evolving campaign needs.
- Adapt creator-supplied or legacy footage to meet brand standards and creative objectives.
- Organise, manage, and archive project assets using cloud-based systems.
- Maintain consistent pacing, tone, and brand expression across all outputs.
- Embody nmbl’s principles — collaboration, curiosity, honesty, and a solution-driven mindset.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years experience editing social or digital-first video content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (knowledge of After Effects is a plus).
- Strong storytelling instincts—timing, rhythm, and narrative flow.
- Experience working with cloud-based asset management systems (e.g., Frame.io, Dropbox, Google Drive).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of platform formats and performance-driven content optimisation.
Conditions:
- Working Hours: Initially aligned to USA overlap hours (approx. 12—9pm CET). As the team and operating model mature, we will work towards more flexibility, with reduced overlap requirements and the ability to operate closer to standard local working hours (e.g. 9am—6pm CET), depending on role responsibilities and team needs.
- Travel Budget: €2,000 annual travel budget (work-related travel, team meet-ups, and collaboration with our US partners)
- Location: Hybrid (The Brewhouse, Malta / Remote)
- Salary Range: €30,000 — €40,000 annually (depending on experience)
