Summary of the Motion Designer, Performance Marketing (New Grad) job at agavegames

We're looking for a New Grad Motion Designer to join our Growth team. You'll work closely with the Growth team and play a key role in creating high-performing, engaging 2D motion creatives that reach and convert millions of players.

Requirements

• Recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, or a related field

• A portfolio showcasing motion design projects (personal, academic, freelance, or professional)

• Good knowledge of After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator)

• Understanding of animation principles, timing, composition, and visual storytelling

• Creative mindset with attention to detail and a willingness to learn

• Interest in creating engaging 2D video ads and marketing creatives

• Curious about AI image/video generation tools and excited to explore new creative technologies

Nice to have

• Internship, freelance, or personal experience creating motion graphics

• Interest in mobile games, advertising, or user acquisition creatives

Responsibilities

• Design engaging 2D motion creatives and video ads for marketing campaigns

• Support the Growth team in turning game mechanics into compelling ad concepts

• Iterate on creatives based on feedback and performance insights

• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and product teams throughout the creative process

• Experiment with different visual styles, hooks, and formats

• Stay up to date with trends in motion design, mobile advertising, and AI-powered creative tools

• Continuously improve your craft by learning from feedback, teammates, and new technologies
