THE ROLE
We're looking for a trusted senior marketing leader to carry momentum in our growth marketing function while our Senior Growth Marketing Manager is on parental leave.
You'll lead a four-person team across digital, ABM, field marketing, and design, own the marketing budget, and be accountable to pipeline outcomes at the go-to-market level. You'll work closely with Sales, RevOps, Customer Success, and Product to keep new-business pipeline moving and deliver key projects while making sound, commercially-grounded calls when things need adjusting.
Critically, this is not a pure people-leadership role. We need someone who is still genuinely on the tools — building and maintaining automations, owning the tech stack, and championing AI adoption by example. If you've led a B2B enterprise growth function before, you enjoy solving technical and operational problems yourself, and you build trust quickly with a new team — this one's for you.
DAY TO DAY
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of four direct reports, including a remote overseas report — providing clarity, setting priorities, and creating a steady environment during a transitional period
- Partner closely with the Product Marketing Lead on positioning, content, SEO/AEO initiatives, and customer marketing
- Own and execute the established growth plan to drive new-business pipeline in a B2B enterprise SaaS motion — long cycles, multi-touch, considered purchases
- Own the sales–marketing relationship and work closely with RevOps on pipeline contribution, attribution, and conversion
- Track and report on commercial outcomes across weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences
- Be genuinely on the tools: build and maintain marketing automation, systems, and AI workflows the team relies on
- Own and troubleshoot the marketing tech stack — including Airtable, Factors.ai, Webflow, and Zapier
- Direct and quality-check work across paid social, lifecycle, field, and web; manage external agency partners on briefs, reviews, and accountability
- Own the marketing budget and manage spend against the agreed plan and commercial outcomes
- Drive the team's AI adoption — finding ways to work faster and smarter, and coaching others to do the same
WHAT YOU BRING
- At least 3 years of people management experience, ideally including remote or overseas direct reports
- Proven experience managing a seven-figure marketing budget across headcount, OPEX, and paid media
- Background in enterprise B2B (SaaS or adjacent) — with a strong understanding of long deal cycles and multi-touch buying motions, and why that distinction matters for how you measure and invest in marketing
- Solid grasp of SaaS pipeline metrics, attribution models, and a track record of close partnership with Sales and RevOps
- Practical, hands-on experience with marketing tech stack and tooling — you troubleshoot and manage workflows and integrations yourself, not just delegate them
- Broad exposure across ABM, field and lifecycle marketing, and design/web management — you know what good looks like across the whole function
- An AI-forward mindset, with the motivation to actively champion adoption across your team
Strongly preferred:
- Experience managing paid digital channels yourself (LinkedIn Ads, Meta, Google Ads)
- SEO/AEO, content marketing, and email marketing experience
- Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, retail tech, or eCommerce
- Willingness to travel to Sydney for in-person collaboration at least once every two months if based interstate
