OPENING SUMMARY
Choreo is investing in the growth of its CPA partner channel and is looking for a builder who can help create the systems, insights, content, and outreach programs that drive partner acquisition.
Reporting to the VP of Institutional Growth & Marketing, the Director of Institutional Growth Marketing serves as a force multiplier for Choreo's institutional growth efforts. This individual helps transform strategy into action by building prospecting programs, conducting market research, developing compelling sales enablement assets, creating growth campaigns, and helping establish a repeatable engine for CPA partner acquisition.
This is not a role for someone looking to manage an existing machine. It is a role for someone excited to build one.
ROLE MISSION
The Director of Institutional Growth Marketing will partner closely with the VP of Institutional Growth & Marketing to translate growth strategy into research, prospecting programs, sales enablement assets, outreach campaigns, and measurable pipeline impact.
The role requires a hands-on builder-operator who can move fluidly between market research, storytelling, campaign execution, business development enablement, and project ownership.
Primary Responsibilities:
CPA Growth Engine Development
- Build and refine the infrastructure supporting CPA partner acquisition.
- Develop target firm segmentation strategies and prospect prioritization frameworks.
- Leverage tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms, and third-party research sources to identify high-value opportunities.
- Help establish repeatable processes that increase the quantity and quality of CPA partner conversations.
Research & Market Intelligence
- Conduct research on CPA firms, industry trends, growth opportunities, competitive positioning, and target audiences.
- Translate research into actionable recommendations and growth initiatives.
- Surface insights that strengthen Choreo's CPA acquisition strategy.
Sales Enablement Content & Storytelling
- Create compelling presentations, case studies, thought leadership pieces, one-pagers, and executive-facing materials.
- Continuously strengthen Choreo's institutional value proposition.
- Develop assets that help business development teams communicate Choreo's differentiated value effectively.
- Support initial outreach and introductory meeting preparation with materials that are clear, persuasive, and tailored to the CPA audience.
Campaign Execution
- Develop and execute targeted institutional growth initiatives.
- Support outreach programs, nurture campaigns, and strategic marketing efforts designed to increase qualified CPA engagement.
- Measure effectiveness and continuously optimize performance.
Strategic Project Leadership
- Partner closely with the VP of Institutional Growth & Marketing on high-priority growth initiatives.
- Independently drive projects from concept through execution.
- Balance multiple workstreams while maintaining speed and quality.
- Influence stakeholders, ask strong questions, and push back when needed rather than simply serving as an order taker.
What Success Looks Like
After 12 months, successful candidates will have:
- Helped establish a repeatable CPA prospecting engine.
- Increased the number of qualified CPA meetings entering the pipeline.
- Built a scalable library of sales enablement and institutional marketing assets.
- Delivered meaningful research and insights that influence growth decisions.
- Created processes that allow institutional growth efforts to scale efficiently.
Who Thrives In This Role
You may be a strong fit if:
- You enjoy building things from scratch.
- You are comfortable operating without a detailed roadmap.
- You ask questions rather than accepting assumptions.
- You naturally move between research, strategy, storytelling, and execution.
- You can create executive-level presentations one day and build prospecting strategies the next.
- You are comfortable balancing multiple priorities at once.
- You prefer creating momentum over managing bureaucracy.
- You are equally comfortable thinking and doing.
- You are comfortable with direct feedback and high standards.
Qualifications:
Required
- 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, institutional marketing, sales enablement, business development support, market intelligence, product marketing, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience personally building and executing growth initiatives.
- Exceptional storytelling, presentation development, and communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities.
- Proven ability to independently drive projects in ambiguous environments.
- Experience using prospecting, CRM, and sales intelligence platforms.
