Creative Producer - Game Development job description
“The Collective Ace Group” is a one-stop Service Hub in the Gaming industry, providing best-in-class services for our clients with all the convenience of a one-stop solution. We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Creative Producer - Game Development to support us. You will join one of our subsidiaries and work within a global team of international professionals, turning client and business opportunities into clear, feasible, and engaging game concepts.
You will shape early concepts, coordinate ballpark scope, budget, and timeline estimates, and communicate proposals to business stakeholders. Once approved, you will guide the high-level GDD, align Game Design and Art with business needs, support release planning, and safeguard creative quality alongside the Project Manager and development team. You do not need to be an artist, but strong visual judgment and a practical understanding of art production are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess incoming opportunities and lead early ideation with Game Design, Art, Tech, and Production, translating client needs, audiences, themes, and commercial goals into a viable product direction, core experience, and scope.
- Work with the Project Manager and discipline leads to define ballpark budgets, timelines, resource needs, feasibility, and dependencies, then present the proposal, trade-offs, and recommendations to client-facing and business stakeholders.
- Once approved, guide the high-level GDD and creative vision across the core loop, features, content, player experience, and visual direction, turning business needs into clear briefs and production priorities.
- Facilitate design and art reviews, providing constructive, actionable feedback on game design, UX, art direction and content quality.
- Partner with the Project Manager on release plans, milestones, review gates, and scope decisions, resolving issues early and balancing creative ambition with delivery constraints.
- Maintain alignment between business stakeholders and the delivery team throughout development, communicating decisions, progress, and required trade-offs clearly.
Requirements
- Around five years of experience in game design, creative production, game production, or a comparable role with meaningful ownership of gameplay and creative quality.
- A strong hands-on game design background and the ability to shape core loops, systems, features, progression, content, and the overall player experience, supported by experience creating or reviewing high-level GDDs and creative briefs.
- Strong visual judgment and the ability to review art direction, UI/UX, concepts, and production assets and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
- Practical knowledge of game development across Design, Art, Tech, QA, and Production, with the ability to assess feasibility and release needs with the relevant leads.
- Experience communicating with clients, partners, or business stakeholders and translating commercial objectives into an executable product direction.
- Strong facilitation, decision-making, organization, documentation, and communication skills, with professional proficiency in English and the ability to work autonomously across functions alongside an established Project Manager.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in external, co-development, or client-led game production, particularly with licensed IP, branded entertainment, or trend-led concepts.
- Familiarity with mobile, web, free-to-play, casual, or hybrid game development and end-to-end release planning.
- Familiarity with prototyping, market and competitor research, and AI-assisted tools for ideation, visual references, documentation, or production support.
