Job Description

We are looking for a Corporate Communications Specialist with a focus on change and internal communications.

You will report to the Head of Corporate Communications, based in Solna, Sweden, and be part of an engaged, skilled and truly global team of communicators, as well as the broader Commercial & Communications team.

You will primarily focus on communications in operational change processes involving multiple stakeholders across AFRY. Initially, your main responsibility will be to support change communications for one of our business-critical processes. You will act as a sounding board to the Change Communications Lead and be responsible for producing clear and engaging communication materials in English, including presentations, articles and film scripts.

You will also interact with many other stakeholders involved in this process, which will eventually impact all AFRY employees.

The Corporate Communications Specialist role may also include other tasks within internal communications, such as editorial work, supporting leaders, and providing translations of global marketing and communications material into local languages

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration or another relevant field
• A few years’ experience in internal and change communications
• A few years’ experience working in a large, complex (group/divisions) organization
• Experience creating communication materials and content in corporate English, including articles, presentations and other communication assets for different internal audiences and channels
• Ability to plan communication activities based on target audiences, channel selection, timing and frequency
• Experience with Microsoft 365, particularly PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Beneficial Experience

• Master's degree in Communications, Business Administration or another relevant field
• Experience working with change communications in digital transformation initiatives, adoption activities or project communications
• Experience from consulting or advisory environments, particularly within engineering, technology or innovation-driven sectors
• Proficiency in German

• Strong communication skills with the ability to make complex topics simple, clear and engaging for different audiences
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage in dialogue, collaborate and build trusted relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders
• Interest in organizational transformation and change processes, and an understanding of how communication can support behavioral change
• Ability to act independently in a complex organization, take initiative and handle day-to-day challenges in an adaptive and confident manner

We apply a hybrid working model at AFRY and expect regular presence on-site at the nearest AFRY office in Sweden or Germany, with occasional face-to-face meetings at AFRY HQ in Solna, Sweden.
