Role Description


Project Overview 

The MOVE Texas Creator Collective blends digital tactics and media strategy to extend MOVE Texas’ reach and deepen trust among young Texans. The Collective is built to foster long-term, values-aligned relationships with creators who influence young communities across our state. These creators are culturally relevant voices with audiences that trust them. 

The Creator Collective is a curated network of Texas-based content creators who will receive access to paid collaboration opportunities, messaging resources, and issue education aligned with key campaign and organizational moments.  Through this program, MOVE Texas aims to expand our reach, strengthen credibility, and engage new audiences in authentic, impactful ways.


Program Goals

  1. Reach audiences who may not otherwise encounter MOVE Texas’ programs or messages
  2. Strengthen civic culture by leveraging trusted messengers within niche online youth audiences
  3. Support nonpartisan civic engagement and issue advocacy efforts through culturally relevant content


Contract Deliverables

Creators are contracted for three required paid deliverables across the election cycle, each tied to a key civic activation window:

  1. National Voter Registration Day (NVRD)
  2. Voter Registration Deadline Day
  3. Get Out the Vote (GOTV)

For each activation, creators will receive a brief outlining the purpose, deliverables, and timeline for the video. Additional video opportunities may be shared with the Collective on a proposal basis, depending on budget and program need, such as issue awareness content or a general MOVE Texas membership or donation ask, but these are opt-in and not guaranteed as part of the core contract.

Video Criteria

  • 501(c)(3) compliant educational content
  • Nonpartisan messaging
  • Follows the criteria outlined in the topic proposal  

Compensation: $350 per video, for a total of $1,050 per creator across the three required deliverables.

Content Ownership: MOVE Texas is the explicit owner of the content created for this contract. 


Timeline 

  • June-July: Invite to Creators 
  • July-August: Creator Onboarding 
  • August-September: First deliverable 
    • September 15, 2026: National Voter Registration Day
  • October: Second Deliverable
    • October 5, 2026: Voter Registration Deadline Day
  • November: Third Deliverable 
    • Monday, October 19 - Tuesday, November 3: Early Voting Period
    • November 3, 2026: General election
  • Early December: Offboarding


Contract Perks

  • Three paid collaboration opportunities (Stipended at $350 a video). Additional opportunities may be available based on needs & budget (including C4 content).
  • MOVE Texas welcome package including branded merchandise.
  • Invitations to MOVE Texas networking events, actions, and community spaces.
  • Participation in the Culture Lab, a space for creators, artists, performers, and cultural leaders to connect and collaborate.
  • Messaging guidance and resources on current events and emerging issues.
  • Alignment with a trusted, nonpartisan civic organization working to strengthen democracy in Texas.


Creator Criteria

  • Texas-based
  • Ages 18–35, to reflect our membership base
  • Following Range of 15,000 - 100,000 followers, with audiences primarily in the same age range and located in Texas 
  • Are culturally relevant voices whose audiences trust them, not political influencers, but politically aware and values-aligned
  • Part of or leaders within micro-communities such as: Lifestyle, Fashion, Comedy, Gaming, Art, music, or performance, Local culture or community-based spaces
  • Priority will be placed on trust, engagement, and community influence over follower count alone.
