Intern - Art Director

Role Overview:
This Art Director Internship is not just about fetching coffee (though we appreciate a good latte). It's a chance to roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty, and contribute to real, impactful campaigns that will make your portfolio sing. As an Art Direction Intern, you will be working alongside our seasoned Art Directors and Creative Directors, learning the ropes and helping to shape the visual landscape of some of South Africa's most iconic brands. You'll get exposure to Below-The-Line (BTL) projects, so you can figure out what floats your creative boat.
Role Requirements:
- BTL Exposure: Help us conquer the world, one creative execution at a time.
- Art Direction Support: Be our creative sidekick.
- Visual Design: Make pretty things.
- Brand Consistency: Be the brand police (in a good way).
- Collaboration: Play nice with others.
- Presentation Skills: Help us sell our genius.
- Project Management: Keep us on schedule.
- Feedback Incorporation: Learn from the masters.
- Software Proficiency: Adobe Creative Suite is your weapon of choice.
- Creative Problem Solving: Turn lemons into lemonade ads.
Desired Skills and Experiences:
- A portfolio that screams "I'm awesome!" (Seriously, show us your best stuff.)
- Adobe Creative Suite ninja skills (or at least, a black belt in Photoshop).
- A deep understanding of design principles, typography, and visual communication.
- Communication skills that could charm a snake.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team (because teamwork makes the dream work).
- A burning passion for advertising and marketing (because if you don't love it, why do it?).
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment (because things move quickly around here).
- An insatiable thirst for knowledge (because learning never stops).
