Summary of the Mid - Level Art Director based in Cape Town job at FRASER GmbH

Your role

As Art Director based in Cape Town you will take on a pivotal creative role. You will develop visual concepts and lead ideas for national and international brands, bringing your design excellence to interdisciplinary projects — from digital campaigns to brand experiences. In doing so, you will play a defining role in shaping the creative signature of FRASER. Your responsibilities will include, among others:

• Conceptual thinking and solutions development for major brand initiatives across all modern touchpoints
• Development of strong brand identities, innovative campaign looks, digital concepts, and cross-channel campaigns
• Design of on-brand visuals for social media, CRM, websites, platforms, and more
• Support for photo and film productions, including production plan development and hands-on supervision
• Collaboration with Strategy, UX, Copy, and Tech teams in Germany and beyond
• Quality assurance from the first sketch to the final execution
• Contribution to pitch development

Your profile

• 4 - 5 years of relevant, ideally international agency experience
• Strong visual imagination, excellent design skills, and a solid understanding of modern holistic branding
• Confident use of common AI tools for creating images, videos, and animations, including critical evaluation and optimization of results
• Know-how in digital communication and current design trends
• Experience working with large, international brands and cross-functional teams
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD). Adobe After Effects and Figma are a plus
• Structured, self-directed way of working with a high sense of ownership
