A taste of what you’ll do 
The Senior Animator is a creative leader within Immense Studio, responsible for producing high-quality animations that bring our slot games to life and set them apart in a competitive market. Working closely with the Lead Artist and game production teams, this role shapes the visual identity and motion language of our titles — from early concept through to final delivery.

Animation and art production

• Produce market-leading animation work across a wide range of game elements, including characters, symbols, backgrounds, UI components, and special effects.
• Own the full animation pipeline from high-level concept and style exploration through to polished production-ready assets.
• Deliver animation work on schedule and to brief, maintaining a consistently high standard across multiple concurrent projects.
  

Creative collaboration

• Work closely with the Lead Artist to establish and uphold the artistic vision for each game, ensuring animation style is coherent with overall visual direction.
• Partner with internal and external artists and developers to integrate animations seamlessly within the game engine, providing assets in the correct format and to technical specification.
• Communicate animation concepts, progress, and creative decisions clearly to the wider game team to support smooth downstream production.

Mentorship and quality

• Act as a senior creative voice within the art team, providing constructive feedback and supporting the growth of junior and mid-level animators.
• Champion quality standards across the team, proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and output.
• Actively monitor trends in game animation and the broader entertainment industry, sharing relevant insights with the team to continually raise the bar.
  

Knowledge sharing and improvement

• Research and advocate for new techniques, tools, and workflows that can improve animation quality and production efficiency.
• Maintain a strong understanding of game design principles, player experience, and how animation contributes to engagement and retention in iGaming products.

Who and what we are after? 

• Demonstrable track record as a professional animator or artist within the games or entertainment industry, with a strong portfolio evidencing breadth and quality of work.
• Proficiency with industry-standard animation and art tools (e.g. Adobe Animate, Spine, After Effects, Photoshop, or equivalent).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working within a cross-functional studio environment.
  
• A genuine passion for games and visual storytelling.
• Creative, highly organized, and self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Broad experience across game art disciplines, including 2D/3D animation, character and symbol animation, background art, UI motion, and special effects.

Nice to have

• Experience working specifically on slot or casino game titles within an iGaming studio.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior artists in a studio setting.
  
• Familiarity with game engine integration workflows and asset delivery pipelines.
