The Ideal candidate
The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting creative talent and understand the demands of the VFX industry. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing recruitment, talent development, and workforce planning while building strong relationships with artists and production teams to support the studio's long-term success.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Recruit high-calibre VFX professionals across all disciplines
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent
- Source candidates through networking, industry events, referrals and recruitment platforms
- Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring processes
- Manage offer negotiations and onboarding
Talent Management
- Act as the main point of contact for artists throughout their employment
- Support career development discussions and progression planning
- Conduct regular check-ins with employees and freelancers
- Work with department leads to identify development opportunities
- Support performance review processes
Resource Planning
- Partner with Production and Resource Managers to understand staffing requirements
- Forecast future hiring needs based on project schedules
- Assist with workforce planning and succession planning
- Monitor utilisation and availability of artists
Employee Experience
- Foster a positive and inclusive studio culture
- Support employee engagement initiatives
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assist with wellbeing initiatives and employee support.
HR & Compliance
- Ensure recruitment complies with employment legislation and company policies
- Maintain accurate employee records
- Manage all HR administration
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
This is a hybrid role but would need you in the office at least 2 days a week.
This is a fixed term contract role of 12 months.
